Very interesting question. I was just asked this over the weekend while a drunk girl tried to hook up with me ( It didn’t happen). Here’s the thing; why exactly are you doing it? For most cases of what you’re talking about, if not all of them, a person is trying to satisfy lust. What I mean by that is that a person will, in essence, compromise what they think is morally right but justifying their actions with phrase such as, “Well, I don’t want to have sex with her. I don’t plan on doing thing else.” The Bible clearly states that we should stay away from lust ( Proverbs 6:25, 1 John 2:16). So I would conclude that you should probably stay away from hooking up with people regardless of your intentions to sleep with them or not.
